Character Bios #1 Rurouni, Kaoru, and ZANZA!!
These Charecter Bios will give you a brief introductory too some of the main charecters of Rurouni Kenshin: Wandering Samurai.
Himura Kenshin
Himura Kenshin was born with the name Shinta. Shinta never really knew his parents and his whole life up until he was about 8 years old he was sold in and out of slavery.Then around when he was 8 he befriended a few women in his slave caravan. Their names were Kasumi,Akane , and Sakura. One day on one of the slave trains many travels the the group was attacked by a vicious group of samurai. The samurai had killed everyone except Shinta and the three women. The three women told the men too kill them instead of little Shinta. The men, showing no remorse for the request that the women had offered, killed all of the three women then just as they were about to slay Shinta a mysterious man came out of no where and killed the men and left just as he had come. His name was Hiko Seijuro The master of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryo sword style. The next day Hiko returned too find that Shinta had buried all of people who were slayed includingthe men who had killed them all. Hiko was surprised by the boy's determinationand spirit and decided to train the boy in the hiten mitsurugi ryo style. This is also when Hiko asked Shinta his name. Shinta told him and told him that his name was not a sword fighter name so he gave him the name kenshin. Then later after many years of progression in the style he decided too leave his master and become a defender of the weak so he joined the Ishin Shisi. under them he worked as a hitokiri(assasin). As time progressed his skills of swordsmanship and killing became greater and greater until he bacame hitokiri Battosai(master Assasin). During the war he was only ever hit once and this hit was made in revenge and hatred so it stayed bleeding and scared forever. After the war he became a rurouni or wander and on one of his many days wandering he came across a woman called Kaoru who accuses him of killing three men just that passed day. then the reall murder showed up and attacked the girl Kaoru but kenshin saved her by doing this kenshin gained her trust and let him stay at her school the kamiya dojo. Kenshin is 28 years old has red hair and a cross scar on his left cheek he has a great knowledge surrounding his charecter and judgement. When he is question something he often says oro?! and often when he talks he calls himself useless. ^o^-oro?!^o^-oro?!^o^-oro?!^o^-oro?!

Kaoru Kamiya
Kaoru is the current master of the kamiya kassen Ryu sword style. Her technique believes in defending the innocent and defending without killing just hurting. she enjoys too beat up on Kenshin when ever possible. she also inheretited the dojo from her father who died in the revolution.She has a hidden love for kenshin too and gets very angry when miss megumi is all over him. Also she is a horrible cook. she is about 18 years old.

Sanosuke Sagara
Zanza was born into the farming family called shinsu but did not stay long in that family in fact when he was around 12 or so he went off too fight with ishinsumi origanally he joined a group called the sekihouti. The sekihouti was a group that was called traitors by ishinsumi, because they told small farming villages that they had no more taxes this angered the inshinsumi so the inshinsumi assassinated all of the members including sanosukes personal friend and surogate father Aoshi Sagara. The way Aoshi died was in sacrifice for sanosuke. Sanosuke escaped the ishinsumi which were also known as imperialists. In doing this he developed a great hatred of imperialists. Then when he got a bit older he became a ruffian or someone who fights for a living. When someone came too him with the idea of fighting and killing Hitokiri Battosai or Rurouni Kenshin Zanza jumped all over the idea because kenshin was also known as the strongest imperialist. This made him want too take the job even more becauase he thought if he killed the strongest that it would give him his revenge for his close friend aoshi and for the sekihouti. When he fought Kenshin he lost and after that Kenshin and him became allies becuase he had realized that Kenshin had changed his slaying ways and became a rurouni or wanderer this inspiration made sano join kenshin and the Kamiya Kassen Dojo. Sanosuke is about19 years old with brown hair
